Description
The Histopathology Technologist receives, logs, batches, cuts, mounts, and stains patient tissue specimens for microscopic examination and analysis. The role coordinates surgical pathology workflow, performs quality-control procedures, prioritizes STAT requests, maintains accurate documentation, and completes preventive maintenance. It reports to the Lab Manager, requires ASCP registration or eligibility, an associate degree, and five years of histology technician experience or one year of training under a registered technologist, and offers employer-paid health insurance plus dental, vision, life, and a 401(k) plan.
