Description
BKF is hiring a remote Historic Structures Senior Technical Specialist to lead architectural history and historic preservation work throughout California. The role includes archival research, field documentation, historic resource evaluations, CEQA/NEPA/Section 106 compliance reporting, impact mitigation, public and agency consultation, environmental compliance planning, project scoping and budgeting, and coordination of consultants on complex multi-agency projects. The position requires a graduate degree in architectural history or a related field, at least ten years of relevant full-time experience or substantial scholarly contributions, strong communication and leadership skills, and a valid California Class C driver's license. It is an hourly position paying $55-$90 per hour, paid biweekly.
