Description
Parallel Bio is hiring a foundational HIV Program Scientist to build its HIV research program from scratch. The role establishes the lab infrastructure, equipment, reagents, biosafety controls, SOPs, and a validated assay menu covering viral load, infectivity, latency reactivation, neutralization, integration, and replication kinetics; executes experiments; and serves as the in-house HIV expert for biology, virology, and assay design. The scientist must be a current or recent postdoc from a top-tier HIV lab, fluent in BSL2+ conditions, and strong in immunology and T cell biology. The position is described as a foundational scientist hire with a one-year scope.
