Description
As a Hog Receiver at Smithfield, you will be responsible for safely and humanely handling arriving livestock, specifically hogs. Your tasks include receiving, unloading, sorting, identifying, scaling, and counting hogs, as well as monitoring yard and truck conditions to ensure compliance with animal welfare and safety standards. You will also conduct animal welfare audits and complete necessary training programs. Effective communication with team members and management is crucial to ensure smooth operations.
