Description
The Home Delivered Meals Program delivers hot meals and cold packs to homebound elderly clients in Queens. The role involves picking up food, following a predetermined route, delivering meals face-to-face, contacting the program office when clients do not answer, reporting client changes, maintaining mileage and vehicle records, and operating a two-way radio. A New York State Class D driver’s license, defensive driving certificate, ability to travel across the five boroughs, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds are required; a high school diploma or GED and bilingual ability are preferred.
