Description
The Home Infusion Registered Nurse at Compassus is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients requiring intravenous (IV) treatment both in an ambulatory infusion suite and at home. This includes administering IV therapies, observing patient responses, documenting care, educating patients and caregivers on IV management, and collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure effective patient care. The nurse also assists in developing and implementing patient plans of care, monitoring patient progress, responding to emergencies, and completing various administrative tasks.
