Description

Beacon Specialized Living Services is seeking a Home Manager to oversee residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe mental illness, autism, and high-acuity behaviors. The role manages residential operations, direct support professionals, staffing, budgets, compliance, incident reporting, clinical coordination, medication administration, transportation, records, inspections, and quality assurance. It requires a high school diploma or GED, preferably college coursework and prior healthcare or behavioral healthcare leadership and supervisory experience, along with strong communication, problem-solving, technology, driving, and crisis-intervention capabilities.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required; at least two years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human services discipline preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare or behavioral healthcare preferred.
1–2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem identification, solution development, and problem-solving ability.
Competence in IDD services and mental health support.
Valid driver's license.
Successful criminal background check and, where applicable, Central Registry, CARI, and drug testing.
Maintenance of required industry training and TB screenings.
Attention to detail and multitasking.
Ability to work physically and emotionally with individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
Ability to learn and use office, HRIS, attendance, EHR, eMAR, Clarity, and related information systems.
