Description

Beacon Specialized Living Services is hiring a Home Manager to oversee residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe mental illness, autism, and high-acuity behaviors. The role manages daily home operations, budgets, census, staffing, training, compliance, incident reporting, clinical coordination, medication and care documentation, inspections, transportation, and quality assurance. The Home Manager also supervises Direct Support Professionals, coordinates with clinical and regulatory agencies, supports person-centered and trauma-informed care, and may work any day or shift across home locations in a 24/7 residential-care operation.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required; two years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human services discipline strongly preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: Two to three years of leadership experience in healthcare or behavioral healthcare preferred.
One to two years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of required background, child-abuse registry, and drug-testing checks where applicable.
Maintenance of required industry training and TB screening requirements.
Ability to complete regulatory and accreditation training.
Competence in IDD services and mental-health support.
Ability to work physically and emotionally with individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
CPI-based verbal and physical intervention capability.
Valid driver's license.
Proficiency with office equipment and information technology systems, including Microsoft 365, HRIS, attendance systems, EHR, EMAR, and Clarity.
