Description

Beacon Specialized Living Services is seeking a Home Manager to oversee residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, severe mental illness, autism, and high-acuity behaviors. The role manages residential operations, staffing, budgets, compliance, incident reporting, clinical coordination, medication administration oversight, transportation, quality assurance, and relationships with regulators and referral sources. The manager supervises Direct Support Professionals, supports person-centered care and trauma-informed practices, maintains records and facilities, and may work any day or shift across home locations in a 24/7 operation.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required; at least two years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human services discipline strongly preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: 2–3 years of leadership experience in healthcare or behavioral healthcare preferred.
1–2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Competency in services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health concerns.
Valid driver's license.
Successful criminal background check.
Ability to maintain required industry training and tuberculosis screenings.
Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office 365, HRIS, time-and-attendance, EHR, electronic medication administration record, and related systems.
Ability to work safely and effectively with individuals with mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and potential physical aggression.
Ability to perform CPI-trained verbal and physical interventions.
Availability to work varying shifts, days, holidays, and locations in a 24/7 residential care operation.
