Oswego County Opportunities is hiring a Homeless Services Advocate to provide crisis intervention, advocacy, referrals, coordination, and case management for homeless individuals and families. The role includes answering a crisis hotline, assessing eligibility, completing intake and HMIS documentation, providing supportive counseling, conducting on-site visits, helping clients secure housing and basic needs, and coordinating with community providers. The position requires an associate degree in behavioral sciences or human services, one to three years of related experience, or an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training, along with a valid New York State driver's license and reliable vehicle access.
