Mount Rogers PACE is hiring Homemakers to provide home-care services to elderly and disabled clients in Bland County, Wythe County, Smyth County, and Bristol, Virginia. The role assists with meals, laundry, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, trash disposal, mail, and stand-by health-related support, while maintaining a 1-to-1 client ratio and using therapeutic interpersonal skills. Applicants must be at least 18, able to perform the physical duties, have a valid Social Security number, driver’s license, and transportation, and pass medical, drug, and background checks; high school graduation or equivalency and relevant homemaking or elderly-care experience are preferred.
