Description
Hexcel is hiring a Horizontal Sawyer in Casa Grande, Arizona, to operate and maintain horizontal saws that cut core material to customer specifications. The role includes setting up saws, verifying dimensions and cell counts, monitoring thickness, tolerance, density, and saw performance, recording data in an SPC system, and supporting trimming, blowout, wash-dry, rework, blade and material changeovers, and scheduling. The position follows a T4 2x2x5x5 shift with overtime often required, pays $27.84 per hour during the 90-day new-hire orientation period and $30.02 per hour thereafter, and includes a $1.75 per hour shift premium. A high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience, and proficiency with measuring tools and basic computer data entry are required.
