Description
The Horticulturist will select, curate, and maintain plant species for the Garden’s living collections, including herbaceous perennials, bulbs, shrubs, trees, and vines. The role involves landscape design and installation, plant cultivation, irrigation, pest and disease management, record keeping, volunteer leadership, equipment operation, and participation in plant-collecting expeditions. It requires 3–4 years of relevant horticulture experience, an associate’s or B.S. degree in a related field, outdoor work in all weather, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.
