Lighthouse Hospice is hiring a PRN Hospice Aide/Homemaker to provide direct personal healthcare and related services to patients in their homes under the direction of a registered nurse. The role includes assisting with transfers and mobility, reporting patient changes, maintaining infection control, supporting nutrition and hydration, performing light housekeeping and meal preparation, completing treatments and procedures, documenting care, and communicating with patients, families, and hospice staff. The position requires a current driver’s license, reliable transportation, valid auto liability insurance, and completion of an approved aide competency evaluation and skills test; a high school diploma and at least one year of hospice or nursing-assistant experience are preferred. Benefits include an employee referral program and a 401(k), with pay of $21.00-$28.00 per hour before overtime earnings.
