Description
The HOST/HOSTESS provides relational service to members and guests, welcomes and directs them, manages seating requests, relays messages to servers, assists with service operations, and maintains high-quality products and service. The role requires knowledge of menu items and club activities, strong food and beverage knowledge, multitasking ability, flexible availability for weekends and holidays, and willingness to learn the P.O.S. system. A high school education, professional certification or training in a restaurant or business field, and food safety certification are recommended; 1–2 years of private club or major hotel experience is preferred.
