The Hostess greets and escorts restaurant guests to tables, presents menus, maintains the host desk and menus, records and arranges reservations and special functions, communicates with guests and management, follows safety procedures, and works efficiently as a team. The role requires high-school-level education or equivalent training and experience, English-language comprehension, customer-service and complaint-resolution skills, physical ability to move through crowded rooms and lift up to 40 pounds, and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
