The Hostess greets and escorts restaurant guests to tables, presents menus, maintains the host desk and menus, records and arranges reservations and special functions, communicates with guests and management, follows safety procedures, and works efficiently as a team. The role requires knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, English reading ability, the ability to move through crowded rooms, and the ability to handle customer complaints positively. A high school diploma and equivalent education, training, or experience are required, along with a neat appearance and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
