Description
The Engineer role at Hampton Inn Daytona Shores - Oceanfront is responsible for responding to guest repair requests, completing and maintaining the hotel’s preventative maintenance schedule, conducting property walks, documenting work through an electronic work order platform, and maintaining safety, cleanliness, and organization in maintenance areas. The role requires a positive attitude, ability to follow procedures, strong communication and conflict-resolution skills, willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. A technical, trade, or vocational school degree and at least two years of commercial facility, hospitality, or related work experience are preferred. Health, dental, and vision insurance is available after 30 days of employment for full-time team members.
