Description
The Hotel Host – Engineering (HVAC) inspects, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs hotel HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and exhaust systems, pumps, and controls. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, responds to maintenance requests and guest complaints, monitors chilled water and energy performance, supports equipment installation and commissioning, and handles emergency HVAC failures. A diploma, ITI, or trade certificate in air conditioning, refrigeration, or mechanical engineering and 2–5 years of HVAC maintenance experience are required; hotel or hospitality experience is preferred. The role also follows safety and refrigerant-handling procedures and supports other engineering disciplines.
