Description
The Engineer/Maintenance position is a hotel facilities maintenance role responsible for maintaining guest rooms, public areas, grounds, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, pools, and spas. The role performs repairs and preventive maintenance, manages records and inventory, handles chemicals, coordinates contractors, directs other engineering associates, supports security, and provides friendly service to guests and coworkers. It requires 1–2 years of practical experience in one or more technical trades, with trade school or related coursework preferred, and the physical ability to perform heavy work and work in variable indoor and outdoor conditions.
