Description
The Housekeeper performs cleaning and sanitation duties throughout a facility, including resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, hallways, common areas, offices, and other workspaces. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, floor stripping and waxing, trash removal, bathroom cleaning, window and mirror cleaning, bed and mattress care, and post-meal and event cleaning. The role also requires compliance with facility, safety, infection-control, blood-borne-pathogen, hazardous-materials, and fire-safety regulations, confidentiality, regular attendance, and the ability to perform physically demanding work involving lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, kneeling, and assisting residents.
