Description
The Hotel Housekeeper, also titled Room Attendant, maintains cleanliness and order in guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Responsibilities include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing linens and toiletries, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance and safety issues, following security protocols, and responding to guest requests. The role requires independent and team work, attention to detail, time management, and basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment; a high school diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping experience are preferred but not required. The position involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
