The Road Home is hiring a full-time, in-person Housing Advocate in Salt Lake City, Utah to support people experiencing homelessness at one of several shelter/resource center locations. The role involves trauma-informed customer service, crisis de-escalation, maintaining shelter safety and cleanliness, documenting incidents and guest stays, assisting with belongings and bed management, and collaborating with staff, EMS, and law enforcement. The position starts at $16.80/hour, requires a high school diploma or GED preferred, experience with diverse or vulnerable populations preferred, and no U.S. visa sponsorship is available; it includes both full-time and part-time openings and offers benefits to eligible employees.
