Description
The Housing Case Manager works with community organizations, government agencies, and property owners to secure and manage short-term, transitional, and permanent housing for clients. Responsibilities include housing inspections, lease coordination, subsidy applications, rent calculations, tenant collection, housing screenings, crisis intervention, discharge placement, documentation, field services, and liaison with housing partners. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of housing-related social services experience, a valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance, cultural competency, and shift coverage including part of the on-call team.
