Description
Wiltshire Council is hiring a temporary Domestic Abuse Housing Advisor for two years, working 37 hours per week at £35,570–£37,563 per annum. The role supports customers fleeing domestic abuse after safeguarding assessments and DASH questionnaires, sources refuge placements, assesses housing needs for the Housing Register, and collaborates with agencies on safeguarding and MARAC referrals. Applicants should have knowledge of landlord and tenant law, allocations, homelessness law, and safeguarding, along with empathy, adaptability, customer focus, and trauma-informed working skills. The role follows a hybrid working model, with customer-facing work carried out entirely from the service location.
