The Doe Fund is hiring a Housing Specialist to work from its Porter Avenue, Brooklyn facility and report to the Director of Discharge Planning, Housing & Recruitment. The role manages landlord and management-company relationships, monitors housing compliance, maintains housing databases, identifies housing opportunities, coordinates housing applications, and supports clients receiving outside income. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, two to three years of community-based residential management or related experience, lease-negotiation and special-needs-housing experience, knowledge of housing and disability laws, computer literacy, and a valid driver’s license.
