Description
The Housing Specialist supports clients in achieving permanent housing placement and provides clinical case management, counseling, advocacy, crisis intervention, and community-integration services. The role reviews housing applications, tracks placements, coordinates with landlords and housing providers, conducts home visits and outreach, maintains client records, and develops service plans. It requires a bachelor’s degree, experience with New York City housing subsidies and programs, and a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one day remote.
