Description
The Houston Chronicle is hiring a Visuals Intern for its summer 2027 internship program. The intern will photograph and film daily and enterprise assignments, pitch, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video for social platforms, identify visual storytelling opportunities, and collaborate with reporters, editors, and the audience team. The role requires a junior, senior, or recent graduate with prior college or professional news experience, a valid driver's license, car access, Houston housing, and at least three days per week in the newsroom. The internship is 40 hours per week for 10 weeks from early June to early August, pays $15 per hour, and runs Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage.
