Description
AbbVie is hiring a High Performance Computing (HPC) Architect to provide technical leadership for scientific and R&D computing environments. The role designs, implements, operates, and governs on-premises, cloud, and hybrid HPC platforms, including compute, GPU, networking, storage, workload management, containers, automation, security, and scientific software. The architect will partner with R&D stakeholders, lead architecture and incident reviews, support capacity planning and cost management, and mentor engineering and partner teams. The position requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree with the specified years of experience, strong HPC and cloud expertise, leadership experience, and experience in regulated or enterprise IT environments.
