Applied Materials is hiring a Senior Software Architect, listed as HPC Architect, in Bangalore. The role designs and implements scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems; collaborates with cross-functional teams; establishes architectural standards; evaluates technologies; leads complex components; mitigates technical risks; and mentors junior architects and engineers. The position requires 12–15 years of experience, a B.Tech/MTech/Ph.D. in Electronics or Computer Science, software architecture experience, C++/C programming, Python, and GPU/CPU optimization expertise. Knowledge of semiconductor, digital signal processing, deep learning, computing design, and benchmarking is advantageous.
