The role involves profiling and optimizing scientific codes, porting and parallelizing code across NVIDIA CUDA and AMD ROCm/HIP, modernizing legacy Fortran and C/C++ code, using portability frameworks such as Kokkos and SYCL, benchmarking performance, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and transferring technical knowledge.
