Amazon is hiring an HPC Platform Engineer for its Models, Quantum, & Silicon Center for Quantum Computing in San Francisco, California. The role develops, automates, and maintains high-performance computing infrastructure on AWS for quantum hardware design and simulation, including cluster orchestration, MPI-based parallelism, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, reproducible environments, observability, and security. The engineer will work with experimental and theoretical physics teams to scale computational capacity and translate science and software requirements into reliable, performant, and secure research computing systems.
