X-ISS is hiring a permanent, fully remote HPC Platform Engineer in the United States for a salary range of 100,000–130,000 USD. The role supports customers’ large-scale Linux and high-performance computing environments across on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including cluster and scheduler management, infrastructure automation, observability, security patching, and architecture decisions. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, at least six years of Linux server experience, and expertise in HPC platform engineering, containerization, job scheduling, infrastructure automation, and scripting.
