Description
The HPC Systems Engineer will support the day-to-day operations of a complex high-performance computing platform in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities include providing technical support to a globally distributed user community, monitoring compute, storage, networking, and job-scheduling performance, provisioning storage, installing and upgrading software, performing maintenance, troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues, and contributing to automation, performance tuning, and platform evolution. The role requires a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, at least three years of Linux experience, HPC environment experience, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and is permanent and full-time.
