Description

POWERX is hiring an HR Compliance & Total Rewards Manager to own HR compliance and total rewards programs across its nationally distributed workforce. The role covers multi-state employment law compliance, benefits administration, compensation and leave management, HRIS configuration and reporting, regulatory audits, employee relations investigations, and vendor management. It is a highly technical, hands-on office desk position that may require travel and involves overseeing benefits, HRIS, or compensation specialists as the function grows.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years focused on HR compliance, benefits, and/or compensation
Hands-on experience managing HR compliance for a multi-state workforce
Technical HRIS administration experience, including configuration, coding, reporting, audits, and integrations
Experience conducting or managing sensitive employee relations matters and workplace or ethics investigations
Experience managing benefits renewals, open enrollment, and broker/carrier relationships
Experience with U.S. and Canadian employment law, benefits, payroll, and HR compliance
Experience with mergers and acquisitions integration or workforce harmonization
Experience administering drug and alcohol testing programs and managing background screening vendors
Experience managing workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs
Experience managing employment-based immigration programs
Experience in a distributed organization of 250 to 1,000 employees
Hands-on technical experience with HRIS platforms and reporting tools
Experience leading or developing a small HR team
Preferred Qualifications: Canadian knowledge
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CEBS, CCP, or CBP certification
SQL, Power BI, or advanced report-builder skills
