Metrolinx is hiring two HR Generalists to serve as trusted advisors and first points of contact for People Leaders within assigned client groups. The role independently assesses and resolves employee and organizational matters, advises on HR policies and legislation, supports employee reclassifications, transfers, health reassignments, employee relations, performance, attendance, leaves, and union implications, implements HR programs, supports engagement and change initiatives, and consults with business leaders. Candidates need a university degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline, progressively responsible generalist HR experience, unionized-environment experience, and knowledge of HR legislation and HRIS systems.
