UGL and CPB Contractors, acting as two CIMIC Group companies, have been chosen by Transgrid to construct the Western segment of the HumeLink high-voltage electricity transmission project. The HumeLink is a significant 500kV transmission initiative connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional New South Wales, aiming to enhance electricity network capacity across Australia's eastern states. It represents one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure undertakings, encompassing approximately 365 kilometers of new transmission lines and associated upgrades.
