Description
The HRC Housing Coordinator manages business transactions and financial administration for housing subsidies provided through the Housing Resource Center. Responsibilities include tenant rent calculations, rental-payment authorization, collections, utility allowances, damage-deposit repayments, provider-system setup, compliance with federal and state housing rules, grant reporting, HMIS data collection, tenant eligibility recertification, housing-file maintenance, landlord relations, and consumer education on landlord-tenant law. The role also supports culturally competent recovery-based practices, may enter progress notes in an electronic medical record, and may work in community settings, consumer residences, and on the street. A bachelor’s degree is required, while business, administration, management, accounting, finance, real estate, property management, housing services, entitlement assistance, and public customer service experience is preferred; a valid Michigan driver’s license is also required.
