Description

The job requires a professional with a Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or HSE engineering, or equivalent, and a minimum of twelve years of relevant experience, primarily in city infrastructure projects involving utility distribution (NG/LPG/SNG pipeline networks, CNG filling stations, Gas in Building), with at least five years in HSSE within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. Candidates should have a strong understanding of international standards such as API, ASME, NFPA, ANSI, and IGEM, and experience with HSSE studies like HAZOP, HAZID, QRA, and HSEIA. The role also demands experience in FEED studies and project progression through EPC construction, operation, and maintenance, with at least three years in a similar position for major projects or operations. Additional requirements include experience in undertaking audits to international and local standards, a valid UAE driving license, and professional certifications such as Lead/Internal Auditor for ISO 45001 (OHSAS18001) and ISO14001, membership with professional institutes like IOSH/CSP-BCSP, and a NEBOSH or equivalent Diploma in HSE. Experience with ADNOC is a plus.
