Description
The job requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, HSE, or an equivalent environmental/loss prevention engineering degree with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, primarily in city infrastructure projects. This includes utility distribution like NG/LPG/SNG pipeline networks, CNG filling stations, and Gas in Building, with at least five years in HSSE within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. Experience with ADNOC and knowledge of their HSE standards, as well as experience in HSE Management Systems, are highly advantageous. The role involves exposure to HSSE studies (HAZOP, HAZID, QRA, HSSEIA) and compliance-related studies, along with experience in FEED studies and project progression through EPC construction, operation, and maintenance phases concerning HSSE matters. Candidates should possess good knowledge of international HSE standards relevant to City Gas Distribution and experience in conducting audits to international and local standards. A valid UAE driving license is required, along with professional certifications such as Lead/Internal auditor certificates for ISO 45001 (OHSAS18001) and ISO14001, membership in a relevant professional institute like IOSH (Certified IOSH/CMIOSH)/CSP-BCSP, and a NEBOSH or equivalent Diploma in HSE.
