Description

Unit4 is hiring a Human-AI Interaction Researcher to join its CTO research team in Labs. The role will define and run a research agenda on how people and AI agents interact, study communication, trust, cognitive and behavioral impacts on productivity and decision-making, translate findings into practical principles, and build academic partnerships. The position is research-focused, multidisciplinary, and may require security clearance and access to sensitive customer data.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience researching how people think, decide, or work with technology, from cognitive science, human-computer interaction, human factors, psychology, or a related field.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including designing studies and experiments and drawing conclusions.
Experience owning a research area, framing questions, setting priorities, and advancing work with limited guidance.
Experience translating academic findings into practical recommendations for product and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications: Research on trust, explainability, or human oversight of automated or AI systems.
Experience studying knowledge work or decision-making in organizational settings.
Experience with academic collaboration, publishing, or building university partnerships.
