Community Partners in Action is hiring a part-time Human Services Worker for its Hartford Transitional Housing program. The role works a Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday second shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, totaling 24 hours per week, and pays $22.50. Responsibilities include supervising residents, maintaining a safe environment, de-escalating conflicts, mediating disputes, conducting facility rounds and searches, administering drug testing and breathalyzers, documenting incidents, and supporting client intake and orientation. A high school diploma or GED, associate or bachelor's degree, human-services experience with justice-involved clients, crisis-management skills, a valid Connecticut driver's license, reliable transportation, and weekend availability are required or preferred; bilingual Spanish/English ability is desired.
