Description
The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a Human Spaceflight Engineer for a casual part-time, remote role with periodic onsite support at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The position provides expert technical assistance for spacecraft architecture, design, ground operations, mission integration, advanced development, field testing, and systems engineering and integration across NASA and other space programs. The engineer will advise customers and contractors, lead multidisciplinary technical teams, assess risks, and prepare recommendations and reports. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, at least 12 years of professional engineering or scientific experience, NASA mission architecture and spacecraft development experience, security clearance eligibility, and U.S. citizenship. Compensation is $90.00–$100.00 per hour.
