Description
Quest Global is hiring a high-voltage electrical engineer to support the technical aspects of high-voltage interconnection infrastructure for photovoltaic power plants across EMEA. The role covers grid-compliant electromechanical design reviews, HV equipment and manufacturer design reviews, HV installation calculations, earthing, insulation coordination, short-circuit, shielding, busbar, and cable sizing studies, substation design deliverables, commissioning support, and coordination with TSOs, DNOs, EPCs, ICPs, and manufacturers. The position requires a degree or relevant qualification in electrical engineering, extensive substations design experience, knowledge of MV/HV systems and renewable PV installations, familiarity with commissioning and power-system calculations, and strong English communication skills.
