Description
The Building Controls Systems Designer will design, configure, and operate complete building control systems, including fire, security, lighting, nurse call, data networks, and other low-voltage subsystems. The role develops software, creates drawings and equipment schedules, coordinates factory mounting and material delivery, assists with commissioning and troubleshooting, supports as-built documentation and owner training, and may direct Systems Design Assistants. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least three years of experience, knowledge of building automation and low-voltage protocols, JCI software programming experience, and regular travel of approximately 50%. The salary range is $75,000–$105,000 USD, with medical, dental, and vision care available day one.
