Tyler Junior College is seeking a faculty instructor to provide classroom instruction and college service, with responsibilities spanning student learning, department coordination, college duties, and community engagement. The role emphasizes teaching excellence, student success, professional development, mentorship during the first year, and maintaining instructional standards. Applicants should have a background in HVAC, with either an associate’s degree in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and demonstrated competencies, or a combination of industry certifications, continuing professional development, extensive work experience, honors/awards, documented teaching excellence, and demonstrated competencies. Minimal travel may be required, and a valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required if travel is needed.
