Description
Michigan State University is hiring an HVAC Mechanic in East Lansing, Michigan. The role repairs, troubleshoots, maintains, alters, and installs commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and pneumatic, electric, and electronic control systems. Duties include responding to building service calls, preventive maintenance, system installation and service, inspections, blueprint interpretation, materials estimation, paperwork, customer communication, and rotating on-call coverage. The position is full time, primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with possible after-hours, weekend, and holiday work.
