Description
The HVAC/Refrigeration Technician will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, monitoring, testing, upkeep, operation, and safety checks on HVAC, medical gas, and refrigeration equipment at Miami Valley South Hospital. The role requires onsite availability for emergencies, shutdowns, and repairs, effective communication, knowledge of healthcare codes and building automation systems, and the ability to handle refrigerants, DDC controls, records, and projects. A high school diploma or GED is required, an associate degree is preferred, and Universal Refrigerant Certification is required; 5–7 years of HVAC trade experience is required, with hospital maintenance experience preferred.
