Description

The HVAC Service Engineer will report to the Contracts Manager and will be responsible for supporting customers by servicing humidity control equipment. This includes identifying and replacing spare components, performing airflow measurements, undertaking system upgrades, providing technical service reports, and seeking out new servicing opportunities. The engineer will ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a professional image.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Three years of field servicing experience in engineering capital equipment.
Preferred Qualifications: FGAS certified.
Computer literacy using Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus, and application software.
Experience and knowledge of the HVAC industry.
Ability to generate accurate assessments of electrical and mechanical component fault diagnosis on engineered capital equipment, preparing clear quantification of size and impact of failure to effect remedial action.
Experience presenting technical service reports in customer-friendly language styles.
Proficiency in reporting techniques to regularly update the After Sales Support Team with servicing activity reports in their geographic region.
Ability to calculate airflow and moisture content measurements.
Good working knowledge of air handling techniques.
Experience and ability to demonstrate relationship-building skills.
An HNC/HND or higher in a relevant engineering qualification.
