Description
The HVAC/R Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating, repairing, maintaining, installing, and replacing residential and commercial HVAC/R systems, including chillers, rooftop units, packaged units, refrigeration equipment, and DDC controls. The role includes adjusting set points, inspecting components, installing and calibrating controllers and VFDs, performing hydrodynamic and air balancing, troubleshooting electrical and refrigeration systems, responding to emergency calls, completing work orders, and maintaining compliance with county policies. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of HVAC/R experience, an EPA Universal certificate, and HVAC/R certification through a certified school, vocational college, or one-on-one work experience; NATE, ASHRAE, or ACCA certification is a plus.
